Na Farmacopeia dos Estados Unidos (USP), as fases estacionárias da GC e HPLC (fase líquida da coluna, gás transportador, etc.) são indicadas por um número código. Números código representativos e as colunas capilares correspondentes estão resumidos na tabela abaixo.
